Teale Machine Company's hi-tech design capability allows engineers to produce 3-D 

solid model parts and use this solid model to create solid model tooling that is 

parametric to the part. By changing the part, all tools and prints that have parametric

features are changed also. This reduces the chance of errors.

Teale Machine will provide design assistance if necessary. We also strive for advance

planning with customers. This often results in a more cost-effective design.

CNC machine programming is done off line. The program is then sent to the machine electronically. This reduces down time at the machine. Engineering works directly with our customers and quality control to design effective gauging and methods.

Primary System: PRO Engineer 2000i

• 3D solid modeling and assembly of tool holder and job specific tooling.

• Reducing tooling design time and costly errors.  

• Electronic document and revision control to aid in QS 9000 requirements. 

Secondary System: AUTOCAD Release 13

• Used for older part and tool design (pre 1996)

 

Use of Microsoft Word and Excel to produce a multi station tooling layout

for Davenport Automatics.  This is linked with our PPAP submittal process

to supply PFMEA control plan and process flow diagram to meet 

QS 9000 requirements.
